HISTORY OF AN IDEA
LUSTRI VENEZIANI project is an idea which was born from the history, the millenary one of the Possagno kilns, where the unique quality of the clay’s quarries has allowed the production of bent tiles, roof tiles and floor tiles with exceptional durability features and the artistic one of Nove di Bassano del Grappa ceramics, admired and researched since the eighteenth century. The ingenious intuition of Industrie Cotto Possagno has been to join the forces into a synergy of knowledges, coordinated by Mr. Giovanni Vardanega.

Mr. Bruno Rosa, historical collaborator is a family tradition: his father, Mr. Otello Rosa, painter and sculptor, Artistic Director of Ceramiche San Polo, was one of the greatest exponents of the art in the 50’s in Venice. The same gene has been inherited by his son Bruno, designer and planner, whose visionary compositions of Lustri Veneziani make precious the most disparate environments.
